Project Rescue Ready

Project Rescue Ready (PRR) is a volunteer-run nonprofit that works tirelessly to save animals from euthanasia by preparing them for adoption. Some of the animals saved by PRR require surgery, medical treatment, or training before they can transition to a traditional adoption service. Animal shelters and adoption services are unable to use their limited resources to prepare these diamonds in the “ruff” for new homes, so PRR takes the lead!

Project Rescue Ready

The Friends of the Phoenix is hosting its 6th Annual April Showers Dog Wash on April 23, 2017, befitting Project Rescue Ready, and we would greatly appreciate your support as a promotional sponsor. Project Rescue Ready is a Houston 501c(3) nonprofit that gives abandoned or stray pets at high risk of euthanasia the help they need to become adoptable.

Our sponsors will receive promotional mention from both Friends of the Phoenix and Project Rescue Ready, including on social media, on posters promoting the event, and at the event. Your tax-deductible donation of a gift-in-kind for our silent auction or event underwriting will help save an animal’s life! The average cost of readying a dog is $150, but pets requiring surgery or out-of-state transportation can far exceed that amount.
